AllyMatter

AllyMatter is a documentation and policy management platform for teams of 50–500 — the kind of company that's outgrown scattered docs but doesn't need enterprise bloat. The category it competes in has a perception problem: documentation tools get filed under "HR software," and every existing player reinforced that framing. For AllyMatter to grow, the brand had to speak to the broader audience who actually lives with the problem founders, ops leads, and every scaling team that loses time to disorganized knowledge.
We built a visual and content system designed to widen that conversation. A serif for authority and documentation weight, paired with a clean sans-serif for legibility across every surface social templates, blog graphics, flowcharts, banners, a flagship whitepaper, and the website. Every deliverable runs on the same dual-type foundation, so the brand compounds in recognition rather than fragmenting across formats. Ongoing engagement, now past a year.
The repositioning worked. AllyMatter began drawing inbound interest from founders internationally including contacts from Japan and the US. The brand stopped reading as compliance software and started reading as a tool for operators. The niche got wider.
